Hardcore Underground Vol.1 (October 2006)

3 CDs mixed by Kurt & Stormtrooper, Fracus & Mozz, Darwin & Cube::Hard

HU1

Cat: HUCD01 Released: October 2006

Order from Play.com / Amazon

"Hardcore Underground Vol.1" was released in conjunction with Vibealite on their newly created imprint Krafty Recordings, and finally allowed the next generation of high-quality producers and DJs to put their names on the front cover. The HU launch party @ Mission in Leeds was a hazy affair, fraught with debauchery and over-indulgence but the message was clear: HU was here to champion good quality music and production, whoever stood to gain from it financially.

This is simply the finest Hardcore comoliation album ever. Nothing else even comes close, the mixing is faultless throughout and the tune selection is superb. I've had this since its release date and I still listen to one of the mixes each and every week. If you like to listen to Darren Styles dropping the same tracks that you heard him play last week then this albums not for you, but if you like to hear something a little bit different check this out.

Fantastic, simply fantastic. I purchased the album as soon as it was available and... let's just say it lived up to all the hype and more. Still sounds as fresh today as the day I bought it; surely one of the greatest hardcore compilations ever released!
